Whittle Dene Reservoir Tern Nesting Platform

A tern nesting platform has been constructed with help from NWL ‘Just an hour’ volunteers at Whittle Dene.  It will be launched on the Great Northern Reservoir Nature Reserve to encourage terns to nest in front of the bird hide. 

The nesting platform was kindly provided by Tom Cadwallender from the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Team.
