Habitat Groups

Six habitat groups have been set up by the partnership steering group to ensure that:

  • those habitats and species most at risk in the county are included in the Biodiversity Action Plan,
  • the habitat and species action plans have appropriate targets and actions,
  • appropriate projects are developed to deliver identified targets and actions and
  • targets and actions are continuously updated

Each group meets when there is a particular topic to discuss or task to undertake in relation to its allocated habitat and species action plans. All contacts within the Biodiversity Partnership are invited to these meetings so that they are able to decide which topics are most relevant to them.
