Great Crested Newt Breeding Project

Fish stocking of ponds used by great crested newt can impact on their breeding success. Sites where great crested newts are present and where fish have been stocked will be identified. At a number of these locations additional breeding habitat will be created for great crested newts and breeding success will be monitored.
