Connecting Communities

The project aims to involve as many user groups as possible on the East Chevington reserve and other sites within the Druridge Bay area to promote its environmental, economic and social aspects. The wide diversity of habitat and species lends itself well as an environmental education resource. The project is active in promoting the Druridge Bay area as an ideal place to visit by people from within and outside the region. The project achieves its aims through a mix of education work (formal and informal) volunteering, visitor liaison and other activities. This project runs in parallel with the Engagement via Environment project.
