Northumberland Biodiversity Partnership Annual Forum 2010
The Northumberland Biodiversity Partnership annual forum was held at the Memorial Hall in Thropton on Thursday 8th July.
This annual event provides an opportunity for those organisations who are not part of the steering group to catch up on the work that has been carried out by the partnership in the previous 12 months (summarised in the annual report in the documents section) and also to directly contribute to the work programme of the partnership over the following 12 month period.
The event including presentations on:
- Round up of Biodiversity Partnership delivery in 2009/10
- Heritage Lottery Fund Grants
- ERIC and how the information is used by the Northumberland BAP
- The Local Sites system
There was also a workshop session which asked the partnership to respond to specific questions developed from the steering group meetings. The notes from this session are available to download from the documents section.
An excellent lunch was provided by the local Women's Institute who we would recommend to anyone considering using the venue in the future. The selection of cakes was particularly impressive!
