Improving Annstead’s Dune Grassland

The northern portion of Annstead Dunes will be fenced off to allow grazing to be extended into this area. Grazing with Exmoor ponies has proved valuable on the remainder of the site and has improved the dune flora.

Public access will be maintained through the provision of suitable gates and stiles and a new interpretation panel will explain the site and the grazing work being carried out.
