Website Accessibility
To make this site as accessible as possible, we have ensured that all html links on the site are non-graphical text links and have built in a number of access key links as follows:
1: Home
2: Action Plans
3: Information Centre
4: The Partnership
5: What you can do
6: Projects
7: Contacts
C: Skip to page Content
S: Skip to Section navigation menu (where available)
M: Skip to Main navigation menu
D: Skip to Download menu (where available)
These links are included to allow people using screen reader technology to skip through repeated content (e.g. navigation menus) quickly, making browsing the web far more efficient.
They're also a great shortcut for power surfers!
Web Standards
Our web pages have been written to HTML 4.01 Transitional standards allowing the maximum possible number of users to view our site as designed. We've kept imagery to a minimum to make the whole experience as quick and easy as possible.
CSS Stylesheets
By using CSS styled type in place of image graphics for all navigation links, our website allows users to scale the size of on-screen text to suit their visual needs or use screen reading software to access our information.
